PAYMENT OF BONUS 2007/2008 CROP YEAR SECOND TRANCHE
In fulfillment of Government’s pledge to pay bonuses twice a year to cocoa farmers, the Management of Ghana Cocoa Board is pleased to inform all stakeholders in the cocoa industry, particularly cocoa farmers that the Board has released funds totaling GH¢21,228,637.11 (Twenty One million, Two Hundred and Twenty Eight Thousand, Six Hundred and Thirty Seven Ghana Cedis, Eleven Ghana Pesewas) to the underlisted Licensed Buying Companies (LBCs) for the payment of the second tranche of bonuses to cocoa farmers in July, 2009:

2. Olam Ghana Limited
3. Akuafo Adamfo Marketing Company Ltd.
4. Adwumapa Buyers Limited
5. Federated Commodities Ltd.
6. Kuapa Kokoo Limited
7. Transroyal Ghana Limited
8. Armajaro Ghana Limited
9. Cocoa Merchants Ghana Limited
10. Diaby Company Limited
11. Dio Jean Company Limited
12. Sika Aba Buyers Limited
13. Royal Commodities Limited
14. Sompa Kokoo Company Limited
15. West African Exchange Company Limited
16. Chartwell Ventures Limited
17. Fereday Company Limited
18. Evadox Limited
19. Allied Commodities Limited
The bonus to be paid is GH¢32.00 per tonne or GH¢2.00 per 64kg. of cocoa.
All LBCs are kindly advised to take note and comply accordingly.
The Board takes the opportunity to assure Cocoa Farmers it will continue to provide them with such incentives to motivate them to produce premium quality cocoa for export.
